Skilled Nursing Services

Skilled Nursing services are provided by a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) who is trained and experienced in delivering care in the home setting. The nurse works closely with your physician and regularly communicates changes in your condition to ensure your Plan of Care remains appropriate and effective. Skilled Nursing services may include, but are not limited to:

Comprehensive assessment and evaluation of your health care needs

Performance of skilled nursing procedures and treatments

Medication management and education

Patient, family, and caregiver education regarding disease processes, self-care techniques, and preventive measures

Coordination of care with your physician and other members of the health care team

At MGS Home Health Care, Inc., we help coordinate the pharmacy, laboratory, and diagnostic imaging services your physician orders. Whenever possible, we arrange for these services to be provided in the comfort of your home. Our nurses work closely with your physician, pharmacy, laboratory, mobile imaging providers, and other members of your healthcare team to coordinate medication delivery, home laboratory specimen collection, in-home diagnostic imaging when available, and other needed services. We are committed to making your care as convenient, safe, and comfortable as possible while supporting your personalized treatment plan.

Home Health Aide Services

Home Health Aide services are provided under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or licensed therapist and are available when patients require part-time assistance with personal care. Services are based on the patient’s needs and are included in the individualized Plan of Care.

Home Health Aide services may include:

Shampooing and hair care
